This Template Kit uses demo images from Envato Elements. You will need to license these images from Envato Elements to use them on your website or you can substitute them with your own.

  • Theme Installation

From the WordPress admin menu, Go to Appearance > Themes.

 

Click on the “Add New” button from the top-left side.

 

In the top-right corner, look for the search bar. Enter “Hello Elementor” in this search box.

 

Now, you will see the “Hello Elementor” theme. Hover over the theme’s image and click on the “Install” button.

 

Theme Activation

After finishing the installation, you will see the “Active” button in the same place instead of the “Install” button.

Click on the “Active” button to activate the theme for your website.

  • Plugin Installation

From the WordPress admin menu, Go to Plugins > Install Plugins.

 

Click on the “Add New” button from the top-left side.

 

In the top-right corner, look for the search bar. Enter “Template Kit – Import” in this search box.

 

Now, you will see the “Template Kit – Import” plugin by Envato. Click on the “Install Now” button.

 

Plugin Activation

After finishing the installation, you will see the “Active” button in the same place instead of the “Install Now” button.

Click on the “Active” button to activate the plugin.

 

Now, you will be redirected to the Plugins page. On the Plugins page, you will see the activated plugin in the list.

 

Again, click on the “Add New” button from the top-left side on the same “Plugins” page. And complete all the steps again to install other required plugins.

  • Essential Setup Before Installing the Template Kits

Before importing the template kit, you need to add the website logo, pages, blog posts, and the navigation menu. By doing these, after importing the template kit, you can see the complete design.

Setup Website Logo

From the WordPress admin menu, Go to Appearance > Customize

In the theme’s “Customize” panel, click on the “Site Identity” box.

Under the “Logo” title, click on “Select logo“. Upload/select and insert the website logo from the Media Library.

You can also upload the Website’s favicon from this panel. Under the “Site Icon” title, click on “Select site icon“. Upload/select and insert the website logo from the Media Library. Know more about the Favicon.

Additionally, you can setup/change your website’s title and tagline from here.

Now you need to save the changes. To save the changes, click on the “Publish” button from the top.

After saving your work, now click on the “Cross Mark Icon (x)” from the top-left corner. You will be redirected to the WordPress admin panel.

Add Pages

From the WordPress admin menu, go to Pages > Add New

 

Enter the page name in the “Add title” area. e.g., Home

Click on the “WordPress Logo” to return to the page list screen.

And do the same process to add some other pages. e.g., About, service, FAQs, Contact, etc.

Add Blog Posts

From the WordPress admin menu, go to Posts > Add New

 

  1. Enter blog post title in the “Add title” area.
  2. Enter some post content in the “Start writing or type / to choose a block” area. Temporarily you can enter some dummy paragraph in this area.
  3. From the right side, click on the “Set featured image” box, and insert an image from the media library.
  4. Finally, click on the “Publish” button from the top-right corner to publish the post.

And do the same process to add several posts.

 

Create Navigation Menu

From the WordPress admin menu, go to Appearance > Menus

 

  1. Checkmark the Page items that you want to add to your menu.
  2. Click on the “Add to Menu” button.
  3. Enter a name for your menu in the “Menu Name” box.
  4. Click on the “Create Menu” button.

Assign Display Location to Navigation Menu

After creating the menu:

  1. Checkmark the “Primary” in the Display location under the “Menu Settings” options.
  2. Finally, click on the “Save Menu” button.

  • Installing Template Kits

Upload the Template Kit ZIP File

From the WordPress admin menu, Go to Tools > Template Kit

This option will be available after the installation of the “Template Kit – Import” plugin.

 

  1. Click on the “Upload Template Kit Zip File” button and select the ZIP file from your computer .
  2. Click on the “Next” button.

 

You will see the “Uploaded Successfully” message.

On this screen, again click on the “Next” button.

 

 

Install Required Theme and plugins

You will be prompted to install the required Theme & plugins on this screen. If you have not installed it, please check the above sections:

Finally, click on the “Next” button.

  • Importing Templates and Blocks

Finally, you will see all the templates and blocks that you can import to your website.

Click on the “Import into Elementor Library” button on the individual templates or blocks to import that item to your Elementor Library.

When the importing will be finished, you will see an “Imported” ribbon at the top-right corner of that item.

 

Find Imported Templates

From your WordPress admin menu, Go to Templates > Saved Templates.

 

Now you will see all the imported templates on this page.

 

Find Theme Builder Templates

From your WordPress admin menu, Go to Templates > Theme Builder.

 

Now you will see all the imported Theme Builder templates on this page.

  • Important Setup After Importing The Template Kits

Disable Default Fonts and Colors

From the WordPress admin menu, Go to Elementor > Settings

 

Under the “General” tab, checkmark in the boxes next to the “Disable Default Colors” and “Disable Default Fonts” option.

If you do not disable these options, you will not find the “Theme Style” option in the Elementor panel. Also, the imported templates will not show the original design (color, fonts, etc.)

Theme Style – Global Settings

 

Adjust the Elementor’s Global Theme Style

Click the “Hamburger Menu Icon” in the upper left corner of any page or post’s widget panel to access the Theme Style settings.

 

Now, click on the “Theme Style” option.

You will not see this option if you do not disable the default colors and default fonts in the Elementor settings page from the WordPress admin.

 

The “Theme Style” option will be loaded. Now adjust the style according to your need.

Don’t forget to click on the “Update” button in the bottom-right corner of the Elementor panel if you change any option.

  • How to Use Template Kits After Importing

Add Full Page Layout Into Your Page

From the WordPress admin menu, Go to Pages > All Pages

 

Hover over your Home page title. You will see the “Edit” option. Click on the “Edit” text.

 

Click on the “Edit with Elementor” button.

Click on the folder circle button.

 

Click on the “My Template” tab.

 

Click on the “Insert” button on the template that you want to add.

 

Elementor will show you a confirmation message. Click on the “Yes” option to confirm.

 

After some time, the template will load. Click on the “UPDATE” button at the bottom.

 

To update any option e.g. text, images, etc., hover over on to the section, you will see a little pen icon. Click on that icon.

Then, you will see the option to edit that section in the left side’s Elementor panel. Edit your requirements.

Don’t forget to click on the “UPDATE” button at the bottom to save changes to your works.

 

 

Add Single Section/Block Into the Page

Click on the folder circle button.

 

Click on the “My Template” tab. Look for the section that you want to insert.

Then click on the “Insert” button next to that option.
